You can use larger pieces and you can use whole plants. You can culture on
agar, Gelrite, Gelcarin, cotton balls, etc. |

| The original leaf piece was cut into smaller pieces after 5-6 weeks
and cultured on hormone free medium. This allowed the shoots to elongate and form roots. |
